 1. IPTC 2025 (International Petroleum Technology Conference)

First on our global events list is the International Petroleum Technology Conference (IPTC) 2025:

Founded in 2005, IPTC is the flagship multidisciplinary technical event in the Eastern Hemisphere. The conference programme addresses the latest technologies and relevant industry issues, providing a platform for specialists and management to collaborate on challenges faced in the sector. 

Access to the entire conference will include executive plenary sessions, industry panels, networking, technical sessions, and more. Additional development activities, including DEI Programmes and Emerging Leaders Workshops, will also be held throughout the conference.

 2. Wood Mackenzie: Gas, LNG & The Future of Energy 2025

Join Wood Mackenzie for their ‘Gas, LNG & Future of Energy’ conference 2025:

• When: 10th-11th June 2025

This third annual event will provide expert insights and engaging discussions on the challenges facing the gas and LNG sectors. With the demand for gas and LNG projected to increase by 50% through the mid-2030s, it's essential to have open dialogues and clearly communicate the role of these sectors in the energy transition. Lastly, don’t miss the Gastech Exhibition and Conference, taking place:

4. ADIPEC | ADNOC 

We were thrilled to see a remarkable turnout at the 40th edition of the ADIPEC conference in Abu Dhabi this year. Under the theme “Connecting Minds. Transforming Energy,” the event attracted over 205,000 attendees from 172 countries, making it the largest and most diverse ADIPEC event to date. The conference highlighted groundbreaking developments across upstream, midstream, and downstream operations, with discussions focusing on utilising artificial intelligence and digitalisation to enhance efficiency, improve safety, and drive decarbonisation within oil and gas projects. 

The sector demonstrated its commitment to innovation and sustainability with deals exceeding $10 billion, including major contracts in drilling and seismic surveys. This year’s ADIPEC reinforced the position of the oil and gas industry as a cornerstone of global energy transformation, blending traditional hydrocarbons with emerging technologies like carbon capture and hydrogen.
