After experiencing difficulties with their recruitment partners, our client wanted a new provider to help reduce costs and manage 20+ turbine mechanics, satisfying fluctuating workforce demand within the fabrication shop. The scope also included future contract recruitment responsibilities.
Our Solution
NES Fircroft established a robust contractor transition plan to retain all of the client’s key contractors.
- We were required to immediately fill 10 vacancies to ensure that the repair scope remained on track and met project demands.
- Locally, NES Fircroft was responsible for administering background checks for all prospective contractors as well as for providing compliant payroll and tax services for all NESF contractors on site.
- We placed a dedicated Account Manager to be on-site at least once a week so that both client and contractor demands were managed effectively, enabling us to be proactive in identifying any future recruitment challenges for our client.
The results of our support
Following our first 6 months on-site, we have received outstanding feedback for our services
- We have enabled our client to make annual cost savings of more than 20%.
- Our success on this project has led to the client working with us on a global scale - we have now been asked to tender for upcoming opportunities at additional client sites and locations.
