Job Characteristics:
  • The primary focus of this role is to oversee the boilers and effluent treatment equipment.
  • Handle waters tests, check water softeners, and work with a water reclamation system.
  • Troubleshoot and repair minor problems and alert maintenance to major repairs.
  • Make process adjustments, monitor operations, record data, and report problems.
  • Operate pumps, valves, and other equipment for safe and efficient operations.
Education/Work Experience: Typically requires a secondary diploma, or equivalent, plus two to four years of experience. Independence Level/Reports to: Able to work under limited supervision, work is typically not routine and complexity is higher than intermediate level, typically reports to Team Leader or other management role

MANAGER DESCRIPTION OF DUTIES:

Oversee the boilers and effluent treatment equipment Troubleshoot and repair minor problems and alert maintenance to major repairs Operate a PC to perform various functions such as making process adjustments, monitoring operations, recording data, and reporting problems.

Operate pumps, valves, and other equipment for safe and efficient operations Maintain a clean, safe, and environmentally compliant work and storage area Work with testing fire systems in building Handle waters tests, check water softeners, and work with water reclamation system

Job Characteristics:
  • This position requires a boiler certification after 6 months of training.
