UI Designer – 12 Months Contract – Central Paris, France

Hybrid working 3 days on site, 2 days remote

UI Designer objectives and deliverables

Looking for a UI Designer to join the Design Studio, a cross-functional team that brings together 20 designers dedicated to improving the user experience through the digital products that my client builds together.
The UI Designer will provide guarantees the consistency of the user interfaces of the different MVPs, via the management and supply of the UI Kit and collaboration with the Design System.
The UI Designer will provide collaborates with its peers on cross-functional subjects (UI Kit, Design System, UI review), with UX designers and Product Designers within the Studio and integrates, if necessary, into multidisciplinary teams (functional, technical, expert business, ...) which operate according to agile methodologies.
The UI Designer service provider is responsible for the UI of several products (3 to 7) with a level of involvement adapted to the needs of the UX and Product designers with whom he collaborates.

The UI Designer will be responsible for:
 
  • To work on the visual appearance and rendering of the interfaces of our products.
  • Work on each graphic element of an interface (size, colour, font, icon, etc.), the graphic organization of pages, navigation and user interactions with the interface.
  • Ensure the consistency and ergonomic and functional homogeneity of the products between them
  • Build animated prototypes for user tests and demos
  • Know how to work hand in hand with developers (pair design, recipe, Design System management, etc.) and UX and Product Designers (pair design, prototyping, UI review, etc.)
  • Know how to supply and manage a UI Kit and a Design system, in collaboration with other UI Designers and developers: creation of components, prioritization, recipe, communication

Transversal contribution
    • Participate in CoP Design (community of practice)
    • Participate in team rituals: branch follow-up, SOS Design, Demo Show, Design Day, etc.
    • Contribute to 1 to 2 cross-functional topics (2/3 hours per week)
    • Maintain continuous monitoring of new design practices and tools (e.g.: new trends, Generative AI, etc.) and know how to share them with the team
    • Organize and conduct occasional Figma Trainings within the Design Studio in order to standardize the team's practice levels in terms of design (e.g. autolayout, Figma variables, etc.)
