Woodside Energy are seeking a Turnaround Materials Readiness Coordinator for an 18-month contract with potential to extend.
This role is responsible for managing a multi-disciplined team of Woodside (indirect) and Contractor (direct & indirect) support staff to deliver Turnaround Materials. The role is Karratha based, provides leadership, support and coordination to ensure all materials are purchased, tracked, prioritized, physically assured and staged for execution then refurbished or returned post execution.
Duties & Responsibilities:
Role Details: Karratha based, 9-day fortnight working 7am-4pm core hours, with allowance to do day and night shift work as required
The Pluto and Karratha Gas plant assets are located on the Burrup Peninsula approximately 20km from Karratha where Pluto consists of 1 LNG train and Pluto Alpha gas platform approximately 180 km off the coast and The Karratha Gas Plant processes natural gas from multiple offshore platforms via 5 LNG trains. The onshore Turnaround execute team develops and executes Tier 2 and 3 Turnaround campaigns for these onshore assets to ensure safe and reliable operations.

Duties & Responsibilities:
- Responsible for team performance by setting clear expectations & task/activity prioritization.
- Responsible for ensuring that the preparation and execution of team activities minimise operational risk on facility.
- Responsible for communicating to key stakeholders through regular governance and travel to Perth
- Responsible for Continuous Improvement opportunities to be identified, assessed and implemented where approved
- Responsible for self and team member compliance to LTO and Competency Training Requirements.
- Demonstrated skilled proficiency in maintenance processes and the use of SAP CMMS for effective work execution
- Solid understanding of the material supply chain and related SAP transactional processes, ensuring seamless coordination and inventory control
- Strong technical knowledge of facility equipment, systems, and processes, with the ability to provide guidance and support to peers and stakeholders
- Acts as the primary point of contact for all technician and coordinator-level material-related queries, ensuring timely and accurate resolution
- Proven leadership in field operations, fostering a culture of safety, accountability, and continuous improvement
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills, enabling effective collaboration across multidisciplinary teams
- High level of agility and adaptability, with the ability to make timely, informed decisions in a dynamic operational environment
- Preferred: Prior experience in a trade-based role supporting maintenance delivery, contributing to hands-on operational insight
