TRAVELING INSTALLATION ASSISTANT
Our client is actively searching for a Traveling Maintenance Technician withing the Mid-Atlantic sector of the U.S.! This individual will travel throughout the region performing a variety of installations for laundry machines and related equipment. This individual will have a background in electrical/mechanical and is comfortable traveling 50/52 weeks a year (paid travel). 

Location
*Based in Mid Atlantic/Pennsylvania/North Carolina Area* 
Travels to various locations, around the area, first two weeks very busy doing install, after that they move to new location
- Can be located anywhere in the Mid Atlantic Area (Pennsylvania/New York down to North Carolina)

Skills:
  • WILL FOCUS ON EQUIPMENT INSTALL
  • Will learn how to install laundry machine dispensing equipment, 8-10 products in each dispenser
  • 150 lbs of laundry - 800 lbs (large machines with various products, wiring, tubing, etc.) electrical wiring, tubing, cable tray knowledge a plus
  • naturally mechanically inclined, wiring knowledge, familiar with production environments, familiar with hard working conditions/locations, working inside - hot/humid
  • safety is key - require special access (training is provided)
  • able to work in a crazy environment - hot/humid conditions, a lot of outside/background noise, a lot of equipment being utilized by other team members
  • able to stay on task and not be distracted by others working in same area

Dress Code - company shirt shirt(provided), khakis/work pants, steel toe shoes, safety glasses, working around chemicals

Background/experience needed:
  • HS diploma required, college degree not required
  • Ideally people traveling doing mechanical things, ideal for an electrician that travels (on the road 50 weeks a year)
  • prefer that they can read electrical drawings, knowledge of PLC
  • laundry equipment experience is TOP OF LIST
