Description:
The Community Relations & Employee Engagement team is seeking a part-time, highly analytical, and detail-oriented professional to join their team as a Ticket Distribution and Analytics Specialist. In this role, you will be responsible for optimizing ticket distribution strategies and leveraging analytics to enhance overall performance. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data analysis and Excel, excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail, and effective communication and collaboration skills. Responsibilities:
1. Ticket Distribution:
  • Distribute and track usage of the companies Houston-Area tickets including but not limited to the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo, and Houston Astros.
  • Assist in the distribution and tracking of tickets for region-specific tickets including but not limited to the Colorado Rockies, and Midland Rockhounds.
  • Develop and implement effective strategies for ticket distribution to maximize employee engagement and attendance.
  • Analyze historical data to identify trends and make data-driven recommendations for future distribution plans.
  • Collaborate with team members and employees to ensure seamless distribution and timely communication.
2. Data Analysis:
  • Utilize data analysis tools to assess the effectiveness of ticketing initiatives.
  • Generate reports and dashboards to provide/present insights into employee engagement, ticket utilization, and costs.
  • Identify areas for improvement and recommend actionable solutions based on data analysis.

Skills:
1. Proven experience in ticketing, event management, or a related industry preferred.
2. Strong analytical skills with proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, SQL, Tableau).
3. Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
4. Effective communication and collaboration skills.
5. Knowledge of ticketing platforms and systems is a plus.


Working Conditions:
1. Work hours are dependent on the season and ticketing events throughout the year. This is not anticipated to be a full-time role (e.g. this role is not expected to be a 9-hour workday each day).
2. Role will work primarily M-F, but must be available on evenings and weekends, dependent on the ticketing event schedules.
3. Must be able to work from home if needed.
