We are currently seeking a Tender Support Officer to join a leading renewable energy company and play a key role in supporting large-scale utility projects across Australia. This position will suit someone organised, detail-driven, and eager to contribute to the growth of the clean energy sector.

You’ll be supporting the full tender lifecycle from pre-tender activities through to submission and post-tender clarifications. Working closely with a the Manager and cross-functional teams, you’ll coordinate documentation, ensure compliance with requirements, and help deliver high-quality proposals for major renewable projects including battery energy storage (BESS), solar, and hybrid systems. Beyond tender coordination, you’ll also have the chance to support business development activities by preparing presentations, maintaining reference materials, and conducting research on industry trends and competitor activity.

What you’ll be doing:
  • Coordinating tender submissions across all phases, ensuring deadlines and requirements are met.
  • Liaising with engineering, commercial, legal, and project teams to compile and review documentation.
  • Supporting bid compliance and quality control, including document formatting, tracking, and revisions.
  • Assisting in the preparation of business development presentations, case studies, and reference projects.
  • Conducting market research to provide insights into opportunities and competitor activity.
What we’re looking for:
  • Experience in tender support, project coordination, or bid management, ideally within the renewables or large-scale infrastructure sector.
  • Familiarity with procurement and bidding processes for major projects (utility-scale experience is highly regarded).
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills, with a keen eye for detail.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to prepare professional reports and proposals.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint); exposure to tender management tools is a plus.
  • A degree in Engineering (Electrical) is preferred but not mandatory.
