Technical Services Specialist
Part Time Role – 12 – 18 hrs per week
South Auckland Based

Our client is seeking a Technical Service Specialist to perform on-site technical and administrative duties within the manufacturing environment of their customers in Wiri, South Auckland. 

This is an exciting opportunity for someone to be a part of a highly successful international company.

This position is based at their highly reputable customer’s manufacturing plants and the role would be responsible for: 
  • Monitoring chemical stock levels and customer production levels for reporting purposes.
  • Test, plan, report and implement recommendations and monitor products for optimum performance.
  • Support the on-site laboratory ensuring operator results are accurate
  • Assist with general account maintenance
  • Investigate and solve technical problems that arise.

To be successful in the role you will need to have:
  • Strong customer service skills
  • Solid problem-solving skills.
  • Interest or a background in Chemistry
  • Previous experience within a manufacturing environment desirable
  • Great communication skills
  • Efficient time management skills
  • Ability to work independently and unsupervised.
  • Great work ethic and professionalism.
  • Ability to pass a Drug and Alcohol test and Police Check

This role would suit a hard-working individual who has an interest in chemistry. As the company representative within their customers manufacturing plants, you will need to have strong initiative and independency to fulfil this role. This role is immediately available with full training provided.

You Must be only looking for a part time position and there will be flexibility around hours of work as well as well as some work from home hours.

Only those with existing New Zealand working rights that already reside in South Auckland will be considered.
