About the Role:  Seeking a skilled Freelance Technical Field Advisor (TFA) to support commissioning activities for its Variable Speed Drive (VSD) systems in Ratingen, Germany. This role is ideal for professionals with hands-on experience in GE PC VSD systems who thrive in dynamic, on-site environments and can provide expert guidance during critical commissioning phases.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Act as the on-site technical expert during commissioning of PC Variable Speed Drive systems.
  • Provide advisory support to customer teams and subcontractors to ensure proper installation, configuration, and testing of VSD equipment.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to VSD systems during commissioning.
  • Ensure all activities comply with safety, quality, and operational standards.
  • Collaborate with  engineering and project teams to align commissioning efforts with project timelines and deliverables.
  • Document commissioning activities, technical findings, and customer interactions.
Required Qualifications:
  • Proven experience with Variable Speed Drive (VSD) systems.
  • Strong understanding of commissioning processes and electrical drive systems.
  • Ability to interpret technical documentation, schematics, and system configurations.
  • Fluent in English; .
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Willingness to work fully on-site in Ratingen.
Additional Information:
  • This is a freelance service contract, not a temporary staffing (ANÜ) arrangement.
  • Travel flexibility may be required depending on project needs
