NES Fircroft are working with an Oil & Gas Operator seeking an experienced Technical Assistant to join their team in Perth.
Job Title: Team Assistant - Exploration & Subsurface Evaluation Team
Days worked: Working Monday to Friday 8 hour days (Will consider 4 days p/w)
Department: Exploration & Subsurface Evaluation
Contract Length: 12 months from start date
Location: Perth CBD
Pay rate: Negotiable
Responsibilities:
Admin: Provide administration support including but not limited to:
Financial Management: Work with finance on the development of Finance dashboards and regular management of the TW and budget updates and report out. Prepare and manage Purchase Orders for ESE.
Compliance: Support Principal Exploration Advisor with the ongoing permit management compliance activities including ATAR preparation, Regulator and JOA compliance activities and dashboard updates.
Team work: Highly motivated and reliable individual that can define short and long-term goals and then set about achieving them with minimum intervention
Qualifications / Experience: Previous training and/or experience in a Technical support position (Exploration or Appraisal) and a Permit Management support role would be a significant advantage.

Responsibilities:
Admin: Provide administration support including but not limited to:
- Document support including formatting, editing and streamlining.
- Provide administrative support for meetings, including reserving meeting rooms, resolving meeting room conflicts, assisting with planning and preparation of meeting materials.
- Process all international and domestic travel arrangements, raising RFT’s for flights/hotels and tracking of the team’s travel/leave arrangements.
- Assist IBEP Directors signature process.
- Maintain structure and organize regular clean-up of the Project MS Teams collaboration SharePoint site and L drive. Maintain folder access register.
- Undertake any other administrative duties as required.

Qualifications / Experience: Previous training and/or experience in a Technical support position (Exploration or Appraisal) and a Permit Management support role would be a significant advantage.
- Power BI dashboarding, excellent analytical and Microsoft office skills.
- Experience with Petrel or Petrosys highly regarded.
- Scheduling, planning and project management experience essential.
