NES Fircroft are recruiting a TAR Systems Coordinator required for an upcoming turnaround on a Upper Tier COMAH site with our client, a major chemical manufacturer based on Saltend Chemical Park, Hull. This is a long-term contract opportunity until Oct 2025 initially. Open to limited companies.
Role Summary
The TAR Co-ordinator establishes and maintains the portfolio of scope to be carried out in a TAR (Turnaround) Event, liaising with various stakeholders across the business to ensure inclusion of all necessary inspection and maintenance scope. Once established, any changes to scope are subject to a formal change request process with a full audit trail maintained. The development of each scope item is then co-ordinated and tracked through a series of systems and stages through to approval for use at the TAR Event. During the event, each item is then tracked through to completion to enable process systems within the plant to be handed over to the operations team in preparation for start-up.

Role Summary

Responsibilities
- Develop & Maintain TAR Worklist (portfolio of scope), ensuring all necessary scope and associated data is logged, with the relevant process adhered to for any amendments.
- Develop & Maintain LWR (Late Work Requests) & XWS (Emergent Work) Registers, ensuring that all approved scope changes are made across all systems.
- Produce & maintain a work pack Development Tracker, using a Custom List in SharePoint for each event to track JTD Development, Attachments, Approvals, Risk Assessments, JTD Printing & Downloads with a series of user-specific views.
- Facilitate the creation and maintenance of a suite of General / Equipment Specific Task Lists in SAP for use in the development of JTD’s (Job Technical Details / work packs).
- Progress & Track JTD Development, including Site Assessments, Task Lists, JTD writing, attachments, iP4S (iPlan for SAP) estimates, Risk Assessments & JTD Approvals (ensuring all relevant parties have signed a JTD, and all comments made have been addressed & incorporated into the JTD where appropriate).
- Develop & maintain a suite of JTD Development Graphs from the JTD Development Tracker for use amongst the TAR team / steering team.
- Create SAP Orders for all JTD’s, ensuring that all are correctly TAR coded. Track the true status of the job throughout the lifecycle of the job through to closure post-TAR. Provide SAP guidance to the team and produce customised extracts / reports where required.
- Create an Event for each TAR in iPlan for SAP (iP4S) as per the requirements. Create / Manage iP4S accounts as per role / permissions required & Provide Training / User guides where necessary.
- Maintain the TAR Teams site, creating a channel for each Event, managing access, and providing guidance where necessary.
- Develop and maintain a TAR Risk Register, using MS Forms & MS Lists as a method for capturing entries. Request regular progress updates and arrange meetings with management to discuss the mitigation of risks.
- Create the Initial build of TAR Tracker for each Event, including review of Completions Points, Accounts, Roles, Job Imports (Includes XWS). Progress Completion of JTD’s through the Distribution of Punch Forms, Punch Items and sign-off of jobs in the Tracker where applicable. Provide TAR Tracker Training (& Guides) to all users, maintain the system and provide support throughout the event. Produce Pressure Integrity & Engineering Completion Certificates for each system upon sign off all scope within that system, specifying where any exceptions have been agreed
Role Requirements
- SAP Experience, particularly in Plant Maintenance and Task Lists is essential.
- iPlan for SAP & iamCompletions experience would be highly beneficial.
- Must be proficient in MS Excel and able to analyse large data sets from various sources.
- MS Teams / SharePoint knowledge is essential, especially the ability to manage permissions.
- MS Lists knowledge is essential for use of progress development tracking.
- MS Forms knowledge is essential for use of data gathering.
- An in-depth understanding of Maintenance and Turnarounds would be highly beneficial, with Completions experience a preferred.
- Must be able to adapt quickly to using new systems with the ability to understand how interfaces between systems work.
