Job Title:  Systems Technician
Location:  NWT, Canada – FIFO or Edmonton
Length: 12 Month contract to start
Rotation: 14/14, 12-hour days

Job Description:

As a Clients Systems Technician, you'll be at the forefront of maintaining and optimizing the Process Control & PI system, with a key role in preventative maintenance and strategic development for controls equipment. This role demands expertise in several critical areas:
  • Manage Industrial Control System Requirements (ICSR) and Alarm Management.
  • Oversee communication programs, radio licensing, and agreements.
  • Ensure safety is a top priority; address and resolve safety concerns proactively.
  • Interface with contractors and develop supervision plans.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with operations, engineering, and maintenance teams.
  • Drive efficiency and productivity improvements with new ideas and solutions.
  • Administer site ICSR compliance, lead Alarm Management Meetings, and manage system networking.
  • Provide support for EMIT initiatives, SAP closeouts, and inventory maintenance.
  • Assist with other trades as needed and offer remote backup coverage during weekends or vacations.
  • Good experience in O&G
  • Instrumentation technician experience is a must
  • Oversee communication programs

  • Radio licensing and agreements
  • More than 5 years of experience in this type of role
