Our client an Engineering Design giant are looking to add a Structural Engineer to their team working on a major Subsea project working from their offices in Paris.

The role will be contract based, initial duration will be 12 months with excellent potential to extend beyond. It will offer an excellent day rate and the chance to join the project during Detailed Design phase.

The client has 3 requirements for Engineers in their Structural team. Candidates will need to based in Paris area and be prepared to work in the office a minimum of 3 days per week.

Skills and Experience needed

To carry out this service, the Holder must bring the skills described below:
Structural engineer ideally of experience in offshore Subsea structure (FLET,Manifold, Suction pile, large mudmat …)
  • Use on previous project of FEA software ABAQUS (2D shell and 3D volumic ), ideally Beam software SACS and hand calculations.
  • Autonomy in the practice of design and calculation. Proposal of solutions to the lead on project.
  • On previous projects, reviews of drawings, work in cooperation with drafting team, commitment on data provided to drafting team in advanced phase.
  • A presence on site of (Saint Quentin en Yvelines), is requested at least 3 days per week.
  • English (write & oral ) is mandatory / French speaker ideally .
