Qualifications 

Education:

  • Minimum bachelor's degree in petroleum engineering disciplines
  • 10+ years of both project phase & operational experience within the Upstream oil & gas industry as a Reservoir Engineer.
  • Experience of Development & Start-up in Deepwater, subsea environment.
  • Experience of development of gas-condensate reservoirs.
  • Strong reservoir simulation experience.
  • Experience of business planning & compliant reserves reporting.
  • Ability to integrate with other disciplines (D&C, reservoir engineering, geoscience)
  • Fluent in industry standard tools; expertise in Eclipse/TNavigator/IPM/Ecrin.
  • Field development planning & optimization, well placement, uncertainty analysis and identification & mitigation of key subsurface risks.
  • Own and lead inputs to Basis for Well Design.
  • Analytical performance prediction (decline curve analysis, material balance, Pressure/Rate transient analysis).
Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

  • Support field development through the project maturation lifecycle, owning production profiles and associated development plans at each Decision Gate.
  • Act as the end-product owner, being able to integrate all subsurface inputs to deliver quality production profiles, guiding the integrated team on key value drivers & focus areas.
  • Provide critical inputs to underpin strategic plans and corporate deliverables such as reserves & resource assessments.
  • Act as Single point Accountability for production profile definition and delivery across the basin resource base. Provide key reservoir engineering analysis and insights to support delivery.
  • Work across the subsurface team, being able to integrate and analyze data and provide valuable inputs to key development decisions and define development plans. Work closely with economics team to maximize value for the company.
  • Ensure all processes are carried out in line with company policies, procedures and regulations and international standards to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Immediately report any unsafe conditions or activities, dangerous occurrences or injury in the workplace.
  • Support key decisions through providing critical inputs and advice.
