Job Purpose:

To lead and coordinate operations readiness activities for the successful startup and steady-state operation of a Floating Production Storage and Offloading (FPSO) facility. Ensure that all systems, processes, personnel, and documentation are in place to support safe, efficient, and compliant operations from day one.

Key Responsibilities:
•    Lead operations readiness planning and execution throughout the project lifecycle, from engineering to commissioning and startup.
•    Interface with engineering, construction, commissioning, and operations teams to ensure operational requirements are fully integrated into the FPSO design and execution.
•    Develop and implement operations readiness plans, including operations philosophies, procedures, staffing, training, and assurance processes.
•    Oversee development and delivery of operating manuals, procedures, and maintenance strategies in collaboration with engineering and vendors.
•    Drive the recruitment, training, and competency development of operations personnel.
•    Ensure readiness of Control Room Operations, Emergency Response Plans, and Permit to Work (PTW) systems.
•    Support commissioning activities and provide operations input during factory/site acceptance tests (FAT/SAT).
•    Identify and manage risks related to operations readiness and transition to steady-state operations.
•    Liaise with regulatory bodies to ensure operational compliance with all relevant laws and standards.
•    Prepare and manage the transition plan from project to operations, including asset handover and assurance processes.

Requirements:

Education & Qualifications:
•    Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Chemical, Petroleum, or related discipline).
•    Professional engineering certification preferred.

Experience:
•    Minimum 10 years of experience in oil & gas operations, with at least 5 years in operations readiness or commissioning roles.
•    Prior experience with FPSO projects is essential.
•    Strong understanding of offshore oil & gas production systems, safety systems, and regulatory requirements.
