Subsea Production Systems Engineer 

Start Date: April 1st 
Duration: 12 months (Renewable) 
Location: Staines, UK (for FEED stage then move to contractors office for EPC Phase)


The service holder will support the Subsea Production Systems (SPS) scope during the FEED execution phases. The Service Holder will play a key role in ensuring the timely and cost-effective delivery of SPS-related FEED deliverables. During FEED, the SPS Engineering will support the performance management of the FEED CTR and contribute to ensuring that all SPS deliverables are submitted on time and within budget. Additionally, the Service Holder will actively participate in the preparation of the SPS EPC CFT. The SPS Engineering will have frequent interactions with other disciplines and entities, ensuring smooth coordination and integration of all related SPS activities across the project.

ACTIVITIES: 
The service holder will support the design, engineering, and delivery of offshore Subsea Production Systems, ensuring safe and optimum project execution as well as reliable operation. The role requires adherence to company procedures in all duties performed.
• Ensure the quality of all Subsea Production Systems during the Concept, Basic Engineering, Detailed Engineering, Qualification, Manufacturing, Fabrication, Construction, Installation, and Pre-Commissioning activities executed by the
Contractor, while respecting local content requirements.
• Assist in identifying and resolving technical issues that arise during any phase of Subsea Production Systems activities.
• Ensure the timely dispatch, review, and approval of all Detailed Engineering, Qualification, Manufacturing, Fabrication, Construction, Installation, and Pre-Commissioning documents issued by the Subsea Production Systems Contractor,
prioritizing where necessary.
• Collaborate with other disciplines to support the design and development of the SPS systems in compliance with industry standards and client specifications.
• Review calculations, simulations, and analyses to ensure the integrity and reliability of subsea equipment.
• Work closely with multidisciplinary teams to optimize the performance of the subsea system.
• Participate in risk assessments and the implementation of mitigation measures.
• Support in monitoring and maintaining subsea equipment, identifying and resolving operational issues.
• Assist in the technical coordination of discipline work-scopes that cover the function and design of the SPS system.
• Ensure mechanical and functional compatibility across all parts of the SPS system.
• Ensure equipment design conforms to SURF CONTRACTOR installation requirements
• Contribute to system-level activities, including:
• PFDs, schematics, block diagrams, and field layout.
• Production assurance and flow assurance.
• Reliability and availability modelling.
• Testing and commissioning philosophies.
 
QUALIFICATION & EXPERIENCE
Minimum Education: Engineer/ Master Drilling, Subsea, Mechanical Engineering degree or other relevant and recognized qualification, have a Subsea Hardware, Subsea Drilling or Engineering Management background, including detailed knowledge of subsea systems and a minimum of 15 years’ experience of working in subsea projects and proven experience in major oil and gas project, preferably in Offshore large project.
▪ Proven Major Oil and Gas project developments knowledge and experience.
▪ 15+ years’ experience in one or more of the following packages:
o Subsea Wells
o Subsea Systems
o Subsea Engineering.
o Project Engineering.
o Hardware package delivery (Systems, Tree’s, Controls, Pipelines, Manifolds etc.).
▪ In-depth knowledge of subsea engineering and the relevant best practices, codes & standards
▪ Extensive experience and knowledge of Subsea Tree and Wellhead systems, from design to drilling, completion and
cleanup.
▪ Experience with driverless connection systems, both horizontal and vertical
▪ Familiar with Marine Operations using Remotely Operated Vehicle (ROV).
▪ Past experience in Caspian Sea is a plus.
▪ Past experience on FEED and CFT is a plus.
▪ Vertical XT experience

Language Requirements:
▪ Fluent English mandatory.
