Job Title: SHE Coach (Projects)
Role Duration: Temporary (4 months)
Location: Grangemouth

About the role:
The post holder will provide Safety, Health & Environmental (SHE) support and advice for Project & Turnaround activities at our client’s locations, to ensure compliance with legislation and delivery of business objectives.

What does the DAY-TO-DAY look like?
  • Provide support, input and coaching in the safe delivery of work scope activities on site
  • Provide active safety coaching to teams and individuals in the effective use of behavioural safety reporting systems
  • User of web-based action management system, providing support to other users as required
  • Lead site-based auditing activities, and support the management of the audit plan
  • Deliver Project SHE Inductions, Site SHE meetings and support safety stand-downs with the workforce
  • Support contracting partners with assessing hazardous materials, ensuring these are added to the approved substance register
  • Be actively involved in toolbox talks and safety conversations with work parties,
  • Support Control of Work risk assessments to ensure all SHE hazards are identified and adequately controlled
  • Assist in accident / incident investigations to help identify root causes and development of corrective actions

What do I need?
  • NEBOSH Certificate / Diploma or relevant degree
  • Member of IOSH / IEMA or equivalent
  • Balanced experience in various aspects of Safety, Health and Environmental Management
  • Strong communication, engagement and coaching skills, with a capacity to influence on SHE matters at all levels within an organisation
  • Experience in participating and leading incident investigations
  • A passion for SHE & Compliance and for driving continuous improvement
