🔍 About the Role
A specialist in the design, manufacturing, and installation of high-performance thermal equipment for hydrocarbon transport, is seeking a Methods Engineer to support the preparation and execution of a test system simulating the tracing/preheating of a pipeline segment. This role is part of a larger international pipeline project.
🎯 Key Responsibilities
  • Analyze and apply lessons learned (REX) from previous projects.
  • Design or select equipment within your scope of responsibility.
  • Draft technical specifications and consult with external suppliers.
  • Ensure maintenance and durability considerations are integrated into equipment selection or refurbishment.
  • Participate in equipment reception at the Ranville yard.
  • Serve as the technical point of contact for installation and commissioning.
  • Write work instructionsoperating procedures, and other production documentation.
  • Contribute to risk analyses and failure mode assessments.
  • Develop lifting plans for special handling operations.
  • Provide regular reporting to the project team.
  • Monitor and update the project schedule.
  • Support HSE and quality issue resolution.
  • Document and formalize project feedback (REX) at the end of the mission.

You will report operationally to the project team and functionally to the Head of Methods, based in Ranville.
🧠 Required Skills & Qualifications
  • Master’s degree (Bac+5) in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Experience in the Oil & Gas or pipeline sector is a strong advantage.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work in a multidisciplinary and dynamic environment.
