A specialist in the design, manufacturing, and installation of high-performance thermal equipment for hydrocarbon transport, is seeking a Methods Engineer to support the preparation and execution of a test system simulating the tracing/preheating of a pipeline segment. This role is part of a larger international pipeline project.

🔍 About the Role
A specialist in the design, manufacturing, and installation of high-performance thermal equipment for hydrocarbon transport, is seeking a Methods Engineer to support the preparation and execution of a test system simulating the tracing/preheating of a pipeline segment. This role is part of a larger international pipeline project.
🎯 Key Responsibilities
- Analyze and apply lessons learned (REX) from previous projects.
- Design or select equipment within your scope of responsibility.
- Draft technical specifications and consult with external suppliers.
- Ensure maintenance and durability considerations are integrated into equipment selection or refurbishment.
- Participate in equipment reception at the Ranville yard.
- Serve as the technical point of contact for installation and commissioning.
- Write work instructions, operating procedures, and other production documentation.
- Contribute to risk analyses and failure mode assessments.
- Develop lifting plans for special handling operations.
- Provide regular reporting to the project team.
- Monitor and update the project schedule.
- Support HSE and quality issue resolution.
- Document and formalize project feedback (REX) at the end of the mission.

🧠 Required Skills & Qualifications
- Master’s degree (Bac+5) in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar role.
- Experience in the Oil & Gas or pipeline sector is a strong advantage.
- Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work in a multidisciplinary and dynamic environment.
