Senior/Lead/Principal Estimator
Location: Houston, TX

Job Summary: The Senior Estimator is responsible for preparing accurate and competitive cost estimates for projects, ensuring all aspects of the project scope are covered. This role involves collaborating with project managers, engineers, and clients to develop comprehensive proposals.

Key Responsibilities:
      •     Analyze project plans and specifications to determine cost implications.
      •     Prepare detailed estimates for labor, materials, equipment, and overhead.
      •     Coordinate with subcontractors and suppliers to obtain quotes and proposals.
      •     Review and evaluate bid documents and tender submissions.
      •     Monitor project budgets and make adjustments as necessary.
      •     Provide guidance and mentorship to junior estimators.
      •     Participate in project meetings and presentations to discuss estimates and proposals.
      •     Maintain a database of historical cost data and benchmarks for future estimates.
      •     Ensure compliance with company policies and industry standards.
Qualifications:
      •     Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering, or related field.
      •     5+ years of experience in estimating for construction projects.
      •     Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and costs.
      •     Proficient in estimating software and Microsoft Office Suite.
      •     Excellent analytical, mathematical, and communication skills.
      •     Ability to work under tight deadlines and manage multiple projects.
Preferred Skills:
      •     Experience with specific sectors (e.g.,Oil and Gas, Power, Renewables) 
      •     Certification from a recognized estimating organization (e.g., AACE, ASPE).
Preferred Softwares: ACCE, Cleopatra, Timberline, Heavy-Bid 
Working Conditions:
      •     Office-based with occasional site visits.
      •     May require extended hours during peak bidding periods
