SLB Capturi is a leading carbon capture technology company. 

We serve a range of carbon-emitting industries including cement, blue hydrogen, bio/waste-to-energy, and gas-to-power among others. SLB Capturi is one of the leading companies globally that has extensive knowledge of the entire CCUS value chain. We have many ongoing projects, from research and innovation, including pilot plant testing, to concept studies and to large EPC projects, both in Europe and in the United States. Today, we are delivering seven carbon capture units in Europe, with an accumulated capture capacity of 1 million tonnes of CO2. In Denmark, we are delivering five Just Catch 100 units to Ørsted, in the Netherlands one Just Catch 100 unit to Twence, and in Norway a Big Catch to Heidelberg Materials. 

Are you an experienced and dedicated Senior Structural Engineer,, with a strong passion for making a difference in the world and believe that technology is part of the solution to solve climate change?

As our new Senior Structural Engineer, you will:
  • Be responsible for construction and fabrication-friendly structural design
  • Be responsible for developing ACC structural methods, philosophies, and standard details
  • Be responsible for handling and solving site queries on CCUS projects
  • Coordinate and supervise multi-location teams of structural engineers and designers
  • Coordinate structural scope with other disciplines, customers, fabricators, and installation contractors on CCUS projects
  • Be responsible for providing input to studies, tendering, sales, and implementing CCUS technology in projects
  • Contribute to standardization and general effective execution of CCUS projects
  • Contribute to finding ways to optimize costs while maintaining quality & schedule
 
You have:
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering (or similar) with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience from project work
  • Expertise in ISO, EN, and other international codes and standards about structural design, materials, and fabrication
  • Multidisciplinary understanding with excellent communication skills
  • Proven performance in a result-oriented project culture, with a genuine drive to optimize the cost curve of the industry
  • Experience from land-based industry
  • Experience from working in fabrication yards or construction sites
  • Experience in the use of state-of-the-art calculation tools (static and/or dynamic)
 
You are:
  • Self-contained and motivated, with a passion for environmental projects
  • Flexible regarding work tasks and possible practical fieldwork, as required
  • Systematic
  • Fluent in written and spoken English.
