Senior Solution Architect  
 
Contract period: 02.12.2024 - 31.05.2026
Location: Stavanger, Oslo

Main Tasks:
  • Holistic overall responsibility: the end-to-end responsibility for technical architecture and design to ensure Company gets the right solutions within the domain of Engineering Data and Lifecycle information.
  • Evaluate and translate business, information, and technical requirements into architectural blueprints for a solution, portfolio of solutions or products.
  • Defining the information formats, with their appropriate road maps, in collaboration with the suppliers and the solution providers.
  • Represent Company on relevant arenas and industry initiatives where new solutions are developed and industrialised.
  • Responsible for architect the right application and systems into our larger ecosystem.
  • Create and document architectural designs to guide and contextualise solution development across initiatives aligned with the customer, portfolio, and transformation objectives.
  • Support and ensure that development and implementation activities are delivered according to design.
  • Provide consulting support and facilitate sound architecture decisions to ensure alignment with enterprise architecture principles and guidelines.
  • Liaise with relevant system owners, subject matter experts, product teams and service providers to secure validity of solutions.

Qualifications:
  • Min. 2 years of experience with stakeholder management, communication and deliveries involving people, processes, and technology.
  • Min. 5-10 years of experience in a solution architect role with responsibility for implementation of off-the-shelf solutions.
  • Experience from the oil and gas industry is required, experience within engineering data and Life cycle management is an advantage.
  • Experience with various solution blueprints, architectural patterns and principles, data modelling, data- and integration- platforms is an advantage.
  • Fluent in English, both verbal and written.
