Role – Senior Principal - Material and Corrosion
Job Overview:
Client is seeking a Senior Principal - Material and Corrosion to join our team in Qatar. This role is vital for overseeing material selection, corrosion monitoring, and related activities in upstream offshore projects. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in material science and corrosion engineering, with a deep understanding of industry standards and technologies.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s or master’s degree in engineering with a focus on Materials and Corrosion, or Material Science.
Should have Proficiency in Microsoft Office,
Expert knowledge of technical design software tools, including ECE and Predict.
NACE Corrosion Specialist certification is considered a plus.
Minimum of 15 years in a similar position within an EPC company.
Technical Knowledge:
Extensive experience in the upstream offshore industry with a strong background in corrosion monitoring and material selection.
In-depth knowledge of international standards related to corrosion and materials (NACE, ASME, API, ISO, DNV, NORSOK).
Proven experience in offshore EPC projects, demonstrating the ability to lead and manage complex projects effectively.
Updated knowledge of the latest industry technologies related to anticorrosion.
