For our Client we currently looking for  Responsibilities:

  • Be part of design process starting from idea generation, simulations, circuit design, control system design, prototyping and verification of converter products  
  • Lead the development and implementation of digital closed loop control systems for new Power Electronic converter platforms 
  • Modeling & simulation of converters, and selection of optimal control strategy for each topology 
  • Development of HW control circuit, setting the limits for control system 
  • Validation of control strategies on Proof of Concepts and functional prototypes, setting up test systems 
  • Support a fast, iterative design process in a cross-functional, dedicated team. Use fast prototyping and lab mockups to close learning loops and achieve results quickly.  
  • Working in modern laboratories; bringing up prototypes; evaluating design limits   
Background:

  • BSc/MSc/PhD degree in Electronics/Electrical Engineering or related field 
  • Proficient in applying modern control theory to Power Electronics applications 
  • Experience with simulation tools (PSCAD, Spice, SIMetrix, Simulink, PLECS…)  
  • Practical knowledge of implementing digital control systems for Power Electronics converters (based on DSP & FPGAs, and test systems using LabView, signal generators & data acquisition equipment) 
  • Experience with working with laboratory equipment and converter prototyping and testing 
  • Strong commitment to safe work practices and dedication to following all relevant workplace safety guidelines. 
  • A high level of self-motivation, curiosity and desire to learn about new technologies. 
  • A collaborative, solutions-oriented approach and strong communication skills. 
  • As you will be part of a global business, fluency in written and spoken English is required
