Overview of Role:

 You'll be at the forefront of implementing, maintaining, and following up on all planning activities within our projects and tenders. As a Senior Planner Services provider, you'll interface with other Project Controls roles and be the focal point for all planning-related activities.

Key Responsibilities & Activities:

  • Primary Contact: Serve as the main point of contact for all planning activities on projects or tenders.
  • Schedule Development: Create robust baseline schedules and reporting tools, including S-curves and float tables, ensuring timely project delivery.
  • Forecasting: Anticipate and alert stakeholders to issues and impacts at an early stage.
  • Problem Solving: Understand project/tender requirements, identify planning scenarios and problems, and develop effective solutions.
  • Plan Management: Establish, maintain, and follow up on plans/networks as the single source of truth for progress reporting.
  • Tender Support: Prepare deliverables for tenders, review ITT qualifications, and propose plans and solutions to the tender team.
  • Documentation: Prepare schedule basis documents, providing clarity on assumptions, critical paths, float, risks, and opportunities.
  • Procedure Development: Develop project-specific procedures, including Work Breakdown Structure and progress measurement methods.
  • Information Flow: Organize the flow of planning and progress information with internal and external sources, including sub-contractors.
  • Reporting: Prepare progress reports, manage critical paths, float, deviations, and forecasts.
  • Plan Integration: Verify and implement sub-contractors' and disciplines' detailed plans into the main schedule.
  • Change Management: Analyze and implement schedule impacts of contract scope changes, identifying deviations and corrective actions.
  • Communication: Ensure good communication and follow-up of internal and external activities, reporting changes related to planned progress.
  • Scenario Planning: Prepare detailed schedules and what-if simulations/scenarios.
  • Presentation: Create smart presentations/summaries for project/tender teams to discuss and validate planning assumptions.
  • Quality Process: Work according to quality processes, keeping records of schedule changes and lessons learned.
  • Collaboration: Actively work with other disciplines to ensure quality and accuracy of deliverables.
  • Knowledge Sharing: Provide specialist skills and knowledge, fostering planning awareness and contributing to discipline development.
Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in planning and project management.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Software: Primavera P6 and Microsoft Project
  • Professional qualifications – Education equivalent to degree in engineering and administrative/business discipline
  • Relevant previous experience in the subsea or offshore environment or planning.
  • Good level of English Spoken and written – Good French Level ideally
