Our client, an Oil and Gas Services Company, is currently hiring a Senior Planning and Control Engineer to be based in their Milan, Italy offices.

This is for a large-scale gas field development project in Libya.
Type of Assignment**  Full time
Duration Of Assignment        30 Months minimum
Work Location(s) Milano (MUST have right to work in EU)

Summarized Job Description or List of position Responsibilities/duties.      
•        Develop detailed project plans, including scope, timelines, resources, and budgets.
•        Create schedules using project management software (e.g., Microsoft Project, Primavera) to track project milestones and deliverables.  Monitor project budgets and expenditures, ensuring alignment with financial forecasts.
•        Conduct cost analysis and variance reporting to identify and address budget discrepancies.
•        Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to minimize impact on project delivery.
•        Monitor risk factors throughout the project lifecycle and adjust plans as necessary.
•        Oversee the procurement process for project materials, equipment, and services, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to specifications.
•        Collaborate with procurement teams to prepare bid documents, evaluate vendor proposals, and negotiate contracts.
•        Ensure compliance with procurement policies and procedures, conducting vendor assessments and maintaining relationships with suppliers.
•        Work closely with project managers, engineers, procurement teams, and other stakeholders to ensure alignment on project objectives and deliverables.
•        Facilitate communication between project teams and external parties to support project execution.
•        Ensure adherence to local, national, and international regulations.
Minimum Academic Qualifications     
•        BSc or higher at oil & gas sector (not less than 10 years’ experience.
Minimum Work Experience (Years)    
•        10 years for Graduate engineers.
•        20 years Non graduate engineers including experience at oil & gas engineering & design sectors.
Minimum Relevant Experience
5 years EPIC projects experience.

•        Proficiency Level in English Lang.
