We are currently recruiting a Senior Pipe Stress Engineer for a Global Oil & Gas EPC on a short term contract (3 months initially) to assist with a close out on a major project to be based in the Perth CBD.

We are currently recruiting a Senior Pipe Stress Engineer for a Global Oil & Gas EPC on a short term contract (3 months initially) to assist with a close out on a major project to be based in the Perth CBD.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct pipe stress analysis.
- Conduct analysis of piping components against new design conditions and determine fitness for service
- Perform and check engineering calculations including pipe stress analysis, FIV/AIV/FIP etc.
- Ensure work is completed in compliance to Client specifications, and where necessary be proficient in raising Technical Queries and/or Deviations with Client.
- Develop critical engineering design deliverables
- Respond to piping site queries from offshore during construction.
- Conduct all activities in a safe and efficient manner in accordance with the Company policies and procedures.
- +7 years in piping engineering role
- Degree Qualified
- Significant CAESAR II Pipe Stress Experience
- Oil and gas industry experience.
- Chartership (e.g. CPEng / IMech) preferred but not essential.
- Brownfield project experience with a “construction led design” mentality.
- Construction support experience on operating asset.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, able to work collaboratively with other team members.
