This team provides day to day Petrophysical support to all open hole and cased hole logging jobs, including most of the existing logging solutions (classic and exotic services, using a variety of conveyance).

The scale of operations (e.g. more than 10 rig lines and WO) indicate the intensity of the operational workload. This role requires an integrated approach across all disciplines and departments .

A significant aspect of the role is coaching a team of local Iraqi Petrophysicists. Experience levels vary from new graduates to individuals with up to 5 years of experience. Developing capability within the team, sharing knowledge across all teams and managing and ensuring operational delivery are key challenges. Another key requirement is having a good working knowledge of New Well delivery (NWD) and reservoir management workflows, and helping to ensure the team contributes and is fully integrated with other departments in this process.
