Reporting to the Engineering Manager, the Senior OT Design Manager – Electrical & Instrumentation plays a critical role in leading the development and delivery of electrical and SCADA systems for water and wastewater infrastructure projects. This role ensures all designs meet relevant standards, industry regulations, and project-specific requirements, while also mentoring junior engineers and collaborating across multidisciplinary teams.

Key Responsibilities
• Develop electrical and SCADA concept, engineering, and detailed designs for water and wastewater applications, including switchboard design and modifications.
• Lead PLC code and SCADA development from user requirements through to commissioning and client acceptance.
• Ensure all project deliverables comply with design specifications, applicable standards, and regulatory requirements.
• Prepare technical specifications and tender documentation; conduct bid evaluations.
• Provide expert technical advice across multidisciplinary project teams.
• Manage the design process for large-scale SCADA and control projects.
• Collaborate with project managers, construction teams, subcontractors, and vendors.
• Mentor and support graduate and early-career engineers.

Qualifications & Experience
• Degree qualified in Electrical Engineering.
• Extensive experience in the water and wastewater industry.
• Strong knowledge of relevant design standards and Australian electrical/SCADA standards.
• Proven ability to manage complex design projects and coordinate with multiple stakeholders.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
