Senior Mechanical Engineer | Water
Due to continued growth, our client, a well-known diversified design consultancy, is seeking an experienced Senior Mechanical Engineer with experience working on water treatment projects, to join their team based in Melbourne.
As a member of the water team you will play a crucial role delivering complex water infrastructure projects throughout Australia.

Responsibilities

  • Management and ownership of engineering and design projects.
  • Management of project schedules/tasks and use of project management tools.
  • Manage and resolve any issues that arise during the project.
  • Ensuring all aspects of mechanical design are to specification throughout the project.
  • Mentoring younger engineers.
  • Ensuring client satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle.
Skills
  • Degree Qualification in Mechanical Engineering.
  • 10+ years’ as a Mechanical Engineer in the Water Sector.
  • Design experience with a strong understanding of industry standards.
  • Ability to work in engineering and design teams.
  • Experience managing projects within scope, budget and schedule.
  • Previous experience in an engineering consultancy
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Time management and the ability to prioritise competing deadlines.
  • Attention to detail.
  • CPEng
