Due to continued growth, our client, a well-known diversified design consultancy, is seeking an experienced Senior Mechanical Engineer with experience working on water treatment projects, to join their team based in Melbourne.
As a member of the water team you will play a crucial role delivering complex water infrastructure projects throughout Australia.

Due to continued growth, our client, a well-known diversified design consultancy, is seeking an experienced Senior Mechanical Engineer with experience working on water treatment projects, to join their team based in Melbourne.
As a member of the water team you will play a crucial role delivering complex water infrastructure projects throughout Australia.
Responsibilities
- Management and ownership of engineering and design projects.
- Management of project schedules/tasks and use of project management tools.
- Manage and resolve any issues that arise during the project.
- Ensuring all aspects of mechanical design are to specification throughout the project.
- Mentoring younger engineers.
- Ensuring client satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle.
- Degree Qualification in Mechanical Engineering.
- 10+ years’ as a Mechanical Engineer in the Water Sector.
- Design experience with a strong understanding of industry standards.
- Ability to work in engineering and design teams.
- Experience managing projects within scope, budget and schedule.
- Previous experience in an engineering consultancy
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Time management and the ability to prioritise competing deadlines.
- Attention to detail.
