Our Major Oil and Gas Operator client is currently recruiting for a Senior Manager – EMS Operations to join the team on a permanent basis

What we expect: (Areas of accountability, responsibility,
competence and critical skills)

• Manage the global enterprise management system applications to ensure a consistent way of working is established and maintained
• Develop, coordinate and deliver the consistent enhancement of enterprise management system applications across Business Units and Corporate
• Establish a consistent global governance model to ensure best practices and system performance issues are shared across Business Units and Corporate
• Develop, manage and optimise corporate budget for enterprise management business system applications
• Manage and develop the EMS operations team
• Understand the operating business process of each function and the
stakeholders across Business Units and Corporate
• Identify and communicate internal and external best practices
• Prepare and deliver senior management, Board and committee updates on business system issues
• Communicate and interact with regulators
• Engage and maintain relationships with Vendors
• Standardise the Company approach to process improvement 
• Maintain business process documentation
• Manage audit and assurance of enterprise management system applications and processes with both internal and external stakeholders
Critical Skills
• Deep operational expertise in one of Operations, Maintenance, Finance, HR or Supply Chain
• Broad understanding of core business processes across Operations, Maintenance, Finance, HR and Supply Chain
• Ability to bring together, coordinate and influence multiple functional
stakeholders to deliver roadmaps and improvements
• Experience in major systems implementation
• International experience preferred
• Broad understanding of the technical landscape of major business systems, vendors, risks and value potential
• Excellent written and oral communications to staff and senior management

Purpose of role:
• Maintain and continuously improve the core enterprise management systems that enable consistent delivery of the Company’s strategy
• Maximise the effectiveness organisation and staff through access to efficient supporting EMS core systems and peripheral applications
• Provide performance data from core EMS applications to inform Company priorities and decision making
