As Aker Solutions’ global recruitment partner NES Advantage are now looking for: Senior Engineer Telecom in Stavanger who can help us succeed.
Aker Solutions take care of energy assets in a Life Cycle perspective. From the start to end of production Aker Solutions ensures safe operations, optimizes field utilization, and enables field life-extensions. We do business development and execute modifications and maintenance projects. There is a global trend towards decarbonization, and we aim to help our customers to decarbonize their operations and measure their emissions to manage them more efficiently, for instance by delivering brownfield electrification of existing offshore facilities. Now we explore opportunities in the aftermarket for renewables, to deliver offshore maintenance for the renewable sector when the market is ready. Aker Solutions employs approximately 11,000 people in more than 20 countries.

What will you be doing?
- Responsible for telecom scope in Front End study. Relevant systems (described in NORSOK T-101) applicable for the study
- Interface to other disciplines and contractors
- Vendor communication
- Clarifications with client
- Production of technical drawings.
- Material list (MTO) with weight and cost for telecom bulk items Input to Main Equipment List (MEL) with weight and cost Input to Study report
- Good written English is mandatory
Qualifications we think you should have:
- Do you have MSc, BSc, Technical College, or other relevant education and experience
- Experience from, and familiar with the requirements for Norwegian Oil and Gas Industry in general
- Telecom systems described in NORSOK T-101
- Offshore Course: Valid offshore certificate
- Available for work in Norway
- Good communicative skills in Norwegian and English and team player
