Role Purpose Application Engineer, AVEVA is responsible for managing and supporting various AVEVA modules, including Electrical & Instrumentation (E&I), Piping & Instrumentation Diagrams (P&ID), and Enterprise Resource Management (ERM) and others. This role involves configuring, maintaining, and optimizing AVEVA applications to support engineering and project management activities. The Application Engineer will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the effective use of AVEVA software in enhancing project efficiency and accuracy.

Key Accountabilities

Application Configuration and Maintenance Configure, maintain, and optimize AVEVA modules such as E&I, P&ID, and ERM to meet project requirements and enhance operational efficiency. Provide User Support and Training Offer technical support and training to end-users, ensuring they can effectively utilize AVEVA applications. Address user inquiries and resolve issues promptly. System Integration Ensure seamless integration of AVEVA applications with other engineering and project management systems, facilitating data flow and interoperability. Customization and Enhancement Develop custom scripts, reports, and interfaces to enhance the functionality of AVEVA applications, tailoring them to specific project needs. Project Support Collaborate with engineering and project management teams to support their activities using AVEVA applications, ensuring project goals are met efficiently. Qualifications

  • Over 3 years of experience in managing and supporting AVEVA applications, with a strong focus on modules such as E&I, P&ID, and ERM.
  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
Competencies Technical:
  • Proficiency in configuring and customizing AVEVA applications, with a solid understanding of engineering and project management processes.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to provide effective user support and training.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues.
  • Understanding of the oil & gas industry, particularly in the context of engineering and project management.
  • Experience in developing custom scripts, reports, and interfaces for AVEVA applications.
