Senior Electrical Engineer
Contract period: 28.10.2024 - 27.09.2025
Location: Stavanger
Main Tasks:
- Produce new documentation and drawings such as Heat Trace layouts, Light and small power layouts, etc.
- Revise existing documentation and drawings.
- Produce work package for installation.
- Produce calculations, short circuit, heat trace and lighting.
- Order electrical materials needed for installation.
- Must be able to understand P & IDs and drawings from different disciplines.
Qualifications:
- Master's or Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or Technology degree with related Trade Certificates.
- 5 to 7 years, within offshore-related projects on Norwegian shelf.
- EX, FSE certificates.
- Knowledge of relevant standards such as PTIL, ATEX, IEC61892 and Norsok.
- Knowledge of modifications on offshore and onshore installations when in operation.
- Experienced in several process & utility systems, incl. Main Power, Emergency Power and UPS supported systems.
- Knowledge of instrument and electrical equipment used in the oil industry.
- Knowledge of the difference of using hydraulic, pneumatic or electrical systems as the power source in the safety system.
- Experience with engineering systems like Febdok, Pims, ProArc, STID, ProCoSys, Heat Trace calculation, Tag-systems and Microstation, is preferred.
- Excellent English writing and speaking skills. Norwegian language is preferred.
