NES Fircroft are currently partnered with an International Energy Business in their search for a Senior level Electrical Engineer to work on the offshore substation (OSS) package for an Offshore Windfarm based in the US. The position will be based in onshore in Norway (Oslo / Stavanger) on a Contract basis and report into the Engineering Manager.

The position will be based in onshore in Norway (Oslo / Stavanger) on a Contract basis and report into the Engineering Manager.
Role Responsibilities
- Ensure delivery of verified and compliant design to US authorities
- CVA, FDR/FIR follow-up
- Follow on engineering during Construction and Commissioning
- Site queries and commissioning queries
- Home base support for offshore hook-up and commissioning
- Packages responsible for: UPS, LV Switchboards, LV distribution board, Lightning protection, lightning system, Electrical heat tracing system and navigation / Identification marking
- Bulk packages: Lights, sockets, cables, cable ladders, exit signs, push buttons
- Package follow-up ensuring correct quality to correct time
- Participating in ITP activities
- Handover to yard
Role Requirements
- LV Electrical engineering experience
- Project execution experience
- Knowledge of relevant standards
- Interface management skills
- Offshore substation experience
- Master’s degree & 8 years’ + relevant experience, OR
- Bachelor’s degree & 12 years’ + relevant experience
