Job Description:
Our client is currently seeking a self-starting and skilled Senior Electrical Engineer to join their Engineering team in Brisbane. In this role, you will play a key part in projects including upgrades to refineries, water treatment plants and manufacturing facilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop electrical designs for projects won and for proposals
  • Prepare electrical documentation including drawings and reports, diagrams, load and equipment lists
  • Provide electrical input into detailed scopes of work
  • Analyse vendor and subcontractor designs and advise on suitability and compliance
  • Consult with vendor teams and internal teams regarding project schedules
  • Provide technical advice regarding electrical equipment and procurement
  • Provide support during commissioning/implementation phase
 
Requirements:

  • Tertiary qualification in Electrical Engineering, along with RPEQ
  • Experience in hazardous area design
  • Electrical Engineering experience in power and water/wastewater, manufacturing and/or oil and gas
  • Experience in dealing with electrical reticulation inside buildings
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills
