Senior Design Engineer

Description:
  •  To comply with FZE QHSE policies and procedures.
  •  Responsible for setting Engineering Standards and processes.
  •  Responsible for providing technical drafting of drawings.
  •  Responsible for providing Creation of assembly, disassembly, and redress procedures.
  •  Generation of Engineering test requests and reports.
  •  Responsible for design plan, review, and approval.
  •  Participating in the product development process.
  •  Equipment qualification and testing V0.
  •  Overseeing prototype design and testing of equipment in workshop.
  •  To analyse customer design proposals, specifications, and other technical data.
  •  To ensure conformance with engineering design and performance specification.
  •  Develops manufacturing drawings in accordance with applicable design and standards.
  •  Use Client’s drawing control system and other systems to ensure the drawings integrity is maintained.
  •  To Define the Design Acceptance Criteria (DAC) as per the product and customer specific requirements.
  •  To interface the meeting with Management and manager for design and development requirements.


Requirements
Accountabilities
  • Accountable to maintain the changes in design and communicated to the concerns.
  • Accountable to verify accuracy of new drawings prior to assembly and testing.

Authorities
  • To present new packer design
  • To hold the assembly process if any changes to be identified in the drawings and design.
  • To provide and review technical drafting of drawings for approval.
  • To oversee prototype design and testing of equipment in workshop.
Minimum Requirements
Education/Academic Qualification:
  • Bachelors' Degree in Design / Engineering or any similar field
Experience:
  • 10 years and above in similar field
Training Sessions:
  • QHSE/API Q1 Awareness, Awareness of product specification requirements like API 11- D1, ASNT, AWS, etc. Project Planning analysis awareness. Experience of AUTOCAD, CADWORKS, etc.
Skills:
  • Fluent in English, Understanding of API manufacturing principles and methods and the application to packer’s design. Working knowledge of completion equipment design calculations.
