General Role Description

Execute quality control testing and troubleshooting to confirm product performance and compliance with requirements

 

Role Accountabilities

- Observe and promptly report potential production, quality, or safety issues in assigned work areas through established reporting channels

- Follow test procedures, standards, and work instructions to perform testing activities accurately

- Perform limited mechanical assembly tasks as required to support testing activities

- Handle components, cables, and materials safely during testing and inspection activities

- Troubleshoot basic test failures and document findings in accordance with defined processes

- Follow work instructions, drawings, and procedures to perform inspections and testing accurately

- Execute production line acceptance testing, including insulation and functional tests, in accordance with established procedures

- Identify and report test failures and quality issues on nonconforming units through established reporting channels

- Maintain organized and efficient work areas to meet 6S standards

- Perform visual inspections to confirm workmanship and basic quality standards across assigned product lines

- Observe work areas for unsafe practices, equipment malfunctions, and PPE compliance, and promptly report concerns to the Lead or Supervisor

- Record test results and complete required test reports and documentation accurately and timely

 

Qualifications

- High school diploma or equivalent

- 1 year of experience in quality control testing

- Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics

- Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 40 lbs.

- Proficiency using digital oscilloscopes, digital multimeters, high-voltage isolators, current clamps, and hand tools

- Strong problem-solving skills

- Demonstrated successful working relationships with clients, suppliers, and other internal and external contacts

- Demonstrated successful and positive personal leadership, interpersonal, organizational, administrative, and communication skills

- Demonstrated continuous improvement in areas of responsibility

- Proficiency in MS Word, Excel and Outlook

- Availability to travel domestically and internationally, up to 5%, sometimes with limited notice

Proficiency in English language, both oral and written
