Context: 

The Site Quality Inspector will be supporting the QAQC manager to ensure that all project phases meet the highest quality standards while complying with local Belgian laws, regulations, and industry best practices. This pivotal role encompasses the leadership of the QA function, ensuring that the EPCM contractor fulfills all aspects of their role effectively and that our project documentation is audit-ready for a successful facility startup. The site Quality manager is surveying the quality activities of the contractor and reports his observations to the QA/QC Manager.

Key Responsibilities:

• Check that approved quality standards and procedures are followed and documentation
prepared by the EPCM meets company and project specifications and regulatory compliance.
• Execute systematic quality surveys and supervise inspections by the contractor, monitor
corrective and preventive actions as needed.
• Provide regular reports on quality performance to the project management team, along with
strategic input for ongoing quality improvement.
• Has intensive contacts with the contractors quality team for preparation, review and timely
handover of all required construction data books.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or a related technical field.
• Practical knowledge on piping pre-fabrication, installation and testing, structural steel
fabrication and installation
• Experienced inspection activities on NDT (PT, MT, UT, RT) and welding performance (Visual
inspection, in process control, ...)
• Knowledge on coating systems (painting, galvanizing) and insulation.
• Good communication skills with fluency in English; Dutch and/or French proficiency is highly
valued.
