Role Synopsis

The PSCM Materials Inventory Manager reports directly to the PSCM MM & Logistics Manager
The role holder is responsible for the overall management and control of the organisation inventory ensuring the implementation of the clients materials management procedures.
Oversees the day-to-day update and data management of inventory transactions in Maximo.
Responsible for RSM review and cataloguing of new items and maintenance and accuracy of catalogue data

Key Accountabilities
•           Manage the Request for Stock Materials (RSM) process including master catalogue maintenance.
•           Monitors progress of all RSM requests.
•           Complete Technical Evaluations for Stock Orders & ensure compliance to the clients Maximo Catalogue
•           Run monthly stock replenishment reports, review available alternative stocks to reduce spend & liaise with end users for challenges to Min/Max levels.
•           Manage 3rd Party Cataloguing contractor
•           Cataloguing of requested items in accordance with Maximo requirements
•           Ensure compliance of Materials to Piping Specs & Standards
•           Optimisation of inventory stock levels
•           Ensures the adherence to Inventory management control requirements and procedures
•           Develop, implement, and review inventory management control and workflow processes and procedures
•           Produce monthly inventory KPI reports
•           Stock verifications and challenges of new orders.
•           Oversee the receipt and issue process within Maximo in accordance with company, international standards and industry best practices.
•           Support Materials management QAQC function
•           Manage the re-order process for the replenishment of inventory stock materials
•           Review Direct materials DR’
•           Oversee the process for inventory cycle count
•           Support annual company and partner stock audits
•           Support Operational Procurement team with Technical issues
•           Develop and manage a continuous improvement programme.
•           Ensure that all personnel competence levels are monitored and evaluated
•           Provide supervision of Inventory Management Technical personnel, ensuring accuracy of task distribution and execution
•           Identification of national staff candidates with high potential for development to supervisory positions. Implementing an agreed development plan for national staff with high potential, coaching and training them, monitoring and reporting on progress against defined targets and milestones
•           Liaison with Users, Materials Management, Suppliers, Third Parties and he clients departments.
•           Continually support and adhere to and promote the HSE principles and the Nine Golden Rules.

  Criteria & Qualifications
  • Minimum 5 years Inventory Management experience
  • Extensive experience with Maximo or similar ERP systems
  • Ability to coach & mentor JV Partner personnel
  • Experience in material cataloguing
  • Experience and familiarity with QAQC processes
  • Strong problem solving and decision-making skills
  • Knowledge of wide range of oil and gas material
  • Specifications
  • Fluent in English, spoken and written
  • Computer literate in MS Word, Excel and Outlook as a minimum.
  • Good communication and leadership skills
  • Sound knowledge of HSE principles and standards
  • Successfully worked in cross functional teams
  • Experience of working in a culturally diverse environment
