🚧 Project Manager Services – Refinery Projects 📍 Fos-sur-mer | Permanent Contract (CDI) | Hybrid Work - occasional
Our client is looking for a Project Manager to join our dynamic Projects Group within the Procurement / Projects / Inspection / Public Relations Division of our refinery.
🔍 Your Role As a key member of a 10-person team (including 3 Project Managers), you’ll be involved from the earliest stages of project development through to construction completion. You’ll coordinate internal teams, external engineering firms, and subcontractors to ensure projects are delivered on time, on budget, and to the highest standards of quality and safety.

Your responsibilities will include:
- Supporting technical teams in project development
- Managing budgets and financial commitments
- Overseeing project schedules and construction timelines
- Coordinating external engineering studies and follow-up
- Issuing consultation requests for equipment, materials, and construction
- Supervising subcontracted construction teams
- Ensuring ergonomic and high-quality installations in collaboration with operations
- Engineering degree in chemical or petrochemical engineering (or equivalent)
- 10+ years of experience in project management within construction or engineering firms
- Strong knowledge of piping, civil, mechanical, electrical, and instrumentation works
- Skilled in project management methodologies and cost control
- Fluent in French; English proficiency is a plus
- Natural leadership and initiative
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Analytical thinking and adaptability
- A rigorous and detail-oriented mindset
