Job Title: Project Manager
Location: Near Humboldt, Saskatchewan
Length: Ongoing (Full-Time Contract)
Rotation: Monday to Thursday – 10-hour days (overtime may be required occasionally)

Our client is seeking a Project Manager to support a range of site-based projects, from simple to complex, within the mining sector. This role requires strong leadership, excellent interpersonal skills, and the ability to progress challenging projects effectively.

Description:
Our client is seeking a Project Manager to support a range of site-based projects, from simple to complex, within the mining sector. This role requires strong leadership, excellent interpersonal skills, and the ability to progress challenging projects effectively.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Managing the full project life cycle: planning, scheduling, scope and cost control, and budget oversight
- Coordinating between stakeholders including the client, site safety, training teams, contractors, subcontractors, vendors, and consultants
- Developing work packages and RFPs for procurement
- Overseeing contract management on behalf of the client and participating in construction meetings
- Monitoring safety compliance for contractors and subcontractors, especially in underground environments
- Maintaining document control and working closely with support roles such as Project Coordinators and Cost Controllers
- Communicating effectively across teams to ensure alignment, coordination, and successful execution of project goals
- Demonstrated project management experience in mining, construction, or industrial environments
- Exceptional communication, leadership, and problem-solving abilities
- Strong organisational and coordination skills in a field-based setting
- Must provide a Drug and Alcohol clearance letter, valid GMSA certificate, and supply required PPE
- Onsite presence is mandatory; remote work is not an option
- Experience in underground potash mining is preferred
- An Underground Supervisory Certificate issued by the Saskatchewan Mines Branch is considered an asset
- Candidates must provide their own transportation to and from the site; local candidates are preferred
