NES Fircroft are looking for a Project Expediting Coordinator to work for an EPC Oil and Gas client.
 
Location: Paris, France
Start: Urgent
Duration: 12 months
Rate: € negotiable
 
Key responsibilities:

Main duties
This role is essential for maintaining the efficiency and effectiveness of project supply chains, ensuring that all materials and documentation are delivered on time and meet project specifications.
 
Responsibilities
Coordinate Expediters: Efficiently manage expediters to achieve project goals using cost-effective and result-oriented solutions.
Ensure Availability: Make sure purchased goods and necessary documentation are available at the established delivery point as per purchase order requirements.
Update Information Systems: Ensure timely updates of company information tools/systems with the most reliable and up-to-date information on supply progress.
Report Criticalities: Promptly report any project supply issues or deviations from contractual delivery times to the Project Material Manager.
Monitor Milestones: Continuously monitor expected milestones related to purchase orders and provide relevant reporting.
Optimize Process Flow: Maintain continuous communication with all project post-order resources to optimize the process flow, including inspection and shipping activities.
Use of Systems and Tools: Ensure effective use of systems, applications, and tools adopted by the company for managing post-order activities.
Feedback and Improvement: Provide project feedback to relevant functions to capitalize on experiences and improve processes.

Skills and Qualifications:
To carry out this service, the Holder must bring the skills described below:
  • Engineer profile who has followed up on complex POs
  • Proactive, structured, proactive
Education: A Bachelor’s Degree in Science, Engineering, Logistics and Supply Chain Management, Shipping Management, or a closely related field.
Experience: 5-7 years of relevant experience in project management, preferably in the oil and gas industry.
