Project Engineer (Mechanical)

We are currently a Project Engineer (Mechanical) for a Major Global Oil & Gas Operator, reporting to the Mechanical-Piping Manager on an initial contract until 1st March 2026.

The successful candidate will look after the coordination of Mechanical / Piping minor works projects, working across design teams, construction, operation advisors and asset front line for scope definition, design and execution. Responsible for progressing and owning whole lifecycle of associated Mechanical and Piping MOCs (Management of Change).

Key Requirements:
  • Coordinate engineering deliverables and work packages
  •  Collaborate with cross function teams to integrate engineering elements
  •  Development of detailed project plan, timeline, scope, budget and resource requirements
  •  Monitor and oversee project progress, identify and address technical challenges by taking internal SMEs or engineering panel supports to implement solutions
  •  Demonstrate experience working in Management of Change process and framework
  •  Bachelor Degree in Mechanical Engineering, with 8+ years in Oil & Gas Operation/ Project experience
  •  Project Engineering/ Mech / Piping Engineering knowledge and experience in Oil and Gas sector
  • Excellent communications and stakeholder management skill
  • Proven experience in Mechanical Design with solid understanding of engineering principles in pressure vessel, piping, valves. Exposure to piping and mechanical engineering documents and specifications are preferred.
  • Demonstrate experience working with multiple discipline engineers, procurement, quality and construction management personnel.
