Location: Stord
Main tasks:
- Work Order Preparation: Based on information provided in engineering work packs (EWP), the Work Prep Engineer shall develop and maintain detailed work orders in PIMS PES, including, but not limited to, man-hour (MHR) estimates, drawings, procedures, and material lists (MTO).
- Interface Management: Collaborate closely with engineering, planning, construction, and commissioning teams to ensure all prerequisites are met prior to job execution.
- Quality & HSSE Compliance: Review safety aspects of planned work, identify risks, and ensure compliance with HSSE requirements and project implementation models.
- Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities to optimize work preparation processes and contribute to lessons learned.
- The Work Prep Engineer ensures the timely and accurate preparation of work orders to support construction, mechanical completion (MC), and commissioning activities. The role is critical in enabling safe and efficient execution in line with project schedules and clients' standards.
- Disciplines (one position per discipline): Electro, Instrument, Telecom, Piping, HVAC, Structure and ISO
- Work schedule, 8 hours per day Monday-Friday
- Technical education (vocational or engineering degree) with a relevant trade certificate or equivalent experience.
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in the oil & gas industry or a related industry, preferably within construction or commissioning.
- Familiarity with MC and commissioning completion processes and digital tools (e.g., PIMS CMS/PIMS PES).
- Strong understanding of drawings (P&IDs, ISO) and the ability to interpret technical documentation.
- Fluent in Norwegian, with a good command of English, both written and spoken.
