Location: Kings Mountain, NC (near Charlotte).
Hours: M-F 8AM-5PM
Pay Range: $30-$40/hr. depending on skillset and experience.
Duration: Contract to hire

Job Details

Responsibilities
- Heavy equipment installation and operation.
- Perform basic routine and preventative maintenance around mechanical components.
- Operation of plant processing equipment such as pumps, exchangers, pressure valves, etc.
- Perform scale-up of ongoing R&D pilot plant start-up.
- Initiate and supervise process control development.
- Perform basic testing and sampling around new product lines being developed.
- Monitor and safeguard organization’s environment and assets.
Job Qualifications
- Must have at least 3+ years of experience as a Plant Operator, Production, Mechanical, Maintenance, or HSE Technician or similar role.
- Must have previous experience in a chemical processing plant or pilot plant or similar industrial environment.
- Must have knowledge of mechanical processing equipment such as pump, exchangers, valves, pressurized equipment, etc.
- Previous experience supporting R&D projects would be a big plus.
- Candidates local to the Kings Mountain, NC region are highly preferred. No relocation or per diem offered to candidates outside the region.
