** Process Safety Engineer **
Location - Dordrecht, Netherlands
Duration - 12 months renewable contract.
I am currently recruiting for a Process Safety Engineer to be based in the Netherlands for a leading chemical client of ours.
Job Description:

- Participate in or lead risk studies and conduct consequence analyses, and review engineering designs for compliance with company and industry safety standards.
- Undertake surveys to identify and evaluate occupational health, safety and environmental conditions
- Conduct various process safety studies/activities, such as: PHAs, HAZOPs, JSAs, LOPA, SIMOPs, incident investigations, compliance reviews, or insurance surveys.
- Identify and evaluate hazardous conditions and practices in the workplace.
- Liaise with sites in US and China/Japan for exchange of knowledge and experience and auditing.
Job Requirements:
• Degree in Chemical Engineering or equivalent
• Knowledge in Asset Integrity and Process Safety’ Management Systems, relevant codes, standards and regulations.
• Knowledge of Technical Safety fundamentals, hazard identification and risk assessment tools and its application.
• Knowledge in risk management and Process Safety incident investigation methodology and tools
• Ability to report in Dutch
