Principal Civil Engineer | Project Delivery
I am working with an engineering consultancy currently seeking a Principal Civil Engineer to join their team in either Brisbane or the Gold Coast. This company has an established presence in Southeast Queensland and across Australia delivering outcomes for clients across the environmental engineering space.
They are currently seeking to expand their project delivery team by bringing in an experienced Civil Engineer to drive the growth of the business particularly through expanding relationships with local councils and authorities.

- Superintendency
- Construction quality assurance
- Contract administration
- First principles estimating
- Tendering and procurement
- Construction programming and resourcing
- Business Development
- Subdivisions
- Civil works
- Mining, damns, levies, roads
- Stormwater drainage design
- Water and floodplain management.
- 10+ years’ experience as a civil engineer in Australia for a consultancy or equivalent
- Proven experience managing projects as a superintendent through the delivery phase
- Experience with and knowledge of local councils and authorities
- Proven experience with business development and the ability to plan out an effective engagement strategy within key markets
- Excellent presentation and communication skills with the ability to succeed in a client facing role
- Ability to lead and mentor younger engineers while also driving work completions independently
