Designation :- Material Engineer - PMM
Job Purpose
To deliver technically robust pipeline product and materials solutions to Company’s projects / operational teams globally. Under the direction of the PMM Technical Manager, the Principal Engineer will fulfil this objective in three key operational areas:
Engineering support, where the primary objective of the work is to deliver expert support to regional project teams during the FEED, tender and execution phases of a project
Technology development, where the primary objective of the work is to deliver new pipeline product materials technologies to the group, and to advise on related challenges around new products which are being developed for the group by the PMM team
Engineering consolidation, where the primary objective of the work is to deliver standardised PMM-related engineering practices, tools, standards and specifications across the group .
Candidate Must Have:
Knowledge related to pipeline materials / manufacturing technologies systems
Expert in the pipeline material selection, manufacturing and installation
Vast amount of experience in Oil and Gas Industries
Minimum Engineering degree in Materials, Mechanical or Manufacturing Engineering, with a strong focus on metallurgy and/or manufacturing processes
Job Description
Contribute to team development through coaching of junior and senior engineers and generating new ideas with colleagues
Ensure the quality of work issued is high and conforms to RP&IT and Group procedures
Promote Company’s engineering excellence through technical publications
Remain conversant with the latest industry developments
