Planning Engineer (Large Scale Solar)

Position: PLANNING ENGINEER
Contract Duration: 12 months (renewable)
Project Location: San Pablo, Isabela
Industry: LSS Solar Farm

Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Planning Engineer to help drive and manage schedules for our renewable energy projects during the development phase of a project's life. You will be responsible for developing a consistent project schedule collaboratively with external suppliers/contractors and internal departments, defining the details of a project's timelines by assisting with setting real-time predecessors and successors to each task.
 
Job Description:

• Prepare the Progress Report and weekly report on a daily basis.
• Reporting, monitoring, tracking, and updating project teams/Project Manager/Superior about the project status.
• Attend monthly/weekly progress meetings.
• To prepare, plan, and oversee all aspects of the project including BOQ, contracts, subcontracting issues, monitoring and advising milestone activities, project scheduling and project performance.
• Ensure all arising issues related to planning the project are attended by the relevant departments without undue delay.
• Update monthly dashboard.
• Support the Project team whenever required.
• Review potential delay and schedule impacts of critical components of the works and suggest potential solutions to maintain schedule objection.
• Updating the schedule and comparing the actual work performed against the baseline program.
• Preparing and analyzing delay reports.
• Prepare a tender programme including cost and manpower.
• Prepare and analyze manpower loading/distribution manpower daily.

Requirements:

• Proficient in MS Project and Primavera P6 (at least 1 year experience)
• More than 2 years of experience as Planning Engineer
• Proficient in excel, Power BI, and other reporting tools.
• With experience working in EPC Projects (preferably Solar)
• Knowledgeable in preparation of manpower loading, cost estimation, and earning value management.
